A bride and groom exit their ceremony in the Bellevue Garden at a wedding at The Aerie at Eagle Landing.

The Aerie at Eagle Landing Wedding | Nicole + Nic

Nicole and Nic’s Harry Potter themed wedding at The Aerie at Eagle Landing was perfection. Their day was so magical and full of the most beautiful and thoughtful details. Any Harry Potter fan will be so excited to see this wedding!! From their own personalized Wizarding World invitation suite, bouquets with pages from the Harry Potter books to unique book themed reception decor + floral, Nicole + Nic spared no Harry Potter details at their wedding.

Nicole chose to get ready at the Sentinel Hotel which provided the perfect vintage-inspired backdrop to start the day. We did the first look and portraits at Scouters Mountain and then headed to the Aerie for the most Wizarding World of weddings I’ve ever seen! Nic’s mom even wore a wizard hat during the ceremony which had all the guests smiling from ear to ear.

I am so happy for this sweet Harry Potter loving couple. I will always remember their unique and special wedding day!

How to have a Harry Potter Themed Wedding

First, you must love Harry Potter!! After that, the most important thing that you can do is to hire a wedding planner that can execute your vision perfectly. Bridal Bliss did a great job planning Nicole + Nic’s Wizard inspired day. No matter who you choose, make sure that they have experience planning weddings with a lot of unique and interesting details.

Second, get creative! Think about creating unique invitations and signs that are inspired by Harry Potter but also include your own personal touches. Some great ideas are personal wizarding world maps, Harry Potter themed drink signs and dessert displays that incorporate words and themes from the books.

Nicole + Nic used wands with guests names on them as their seating chart. These were super cute but also served as a favor and fun prop once the dancing started!

Finally, have fun! Your wedding day should be easy and stress-free. Don’t get too overwhelmed in the details and focus on providing your guests with a memorable experience that they will take with them forever. And don’t forget to plan your honeymoon to go to Harry Potter World so you have something to look forward to after the wedding is over!
